Well your not going to get much out of me tonight as I’ve an appointment with this little number 🙂
Which once you get past all the ‘wine speak’ on the back about tannins, plums and American oak barrels translates into ‘alcoholic Ribena that’s slips down a treat’. Given to me by a neighbour as an unnecessary taxi fare it will much appreciated by wifey and I on the last day of work, and the start of three weeks holiday.
The day was the usual mad Tuesday rush of finishing everything off ready to hand over to my ‘back to back’ so there was little time for pictures.
One of the two stags that I saw yesterday was still in the same place as I drove into work.
The ‘Fortunate Sun’ which was still in Stornoway at 8:00am slipped past the still dormant Raasay House around 13:30
and is now making a good 12.6knts south west of Mull.
http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/default.aspx?zoom=10&mmsi=319838000¢erx=-5.66154¢ery=56.37369 shows her destination as Oban, which if it is means she’s lost 🙂
More old wrecks departed Raasay for that great garage in the sky
which means we’ll probably see them again next year as washing machines from China 🙂
Signed off and handed over to my relief at 18:00 I headed home to feed the pigs, patch a pot hole in the road, adjust my hydro turbine and cut some bedding. And now I’m going to have a glass of that fine red wine that’s been breathing nicely for the last half hour, have a bath and go to bed. I’ve a very busy three weeks ahead of me 🙂
